Homework assignments from last week taking space on your desktop? Old photos that you never got around to archiving? Never worry about a cluttered computer with Expiry! Expiry allows you to set an expiration date for selected files on your computer. When the date comes, the files will be deleted or archived so you don’t have to worry about them anymore.
Expiry can also act as a Downloads folder manager, making sure that you aren’t questioning whether you still need that file that you downloaded last year.
What can Expiry do?
• Delete or archive files on a date
o Deleted files can be moved to the trash or immediately erased
o Archived files will be zipped and moved to a specified folder
• Manage your downloads folder
o Limit it to a certain size
o Delete folders older than a certain age
o Empty the folder at a regular interval
• Run without you noticing
o After you add a file, you don’t need to do anything else!
o Expiry is optimized to be lightweight. It won’t slow down your system or drain your battery
